Astor Center is an educational hub housed directly above Astor Wines & Spirits. The launch of Astor Center came in 2006, when Astor Wines & Spirits moved from its original location at Astor Place, where it had been for 50 years, to its new home in the historic De Vinne Press Building on Lafayette Street. Astor Center is a state-of-the-art tasting room and learning facility designed to grow our community's love of unique wines, craft spirits, and perfectly concocted cocktails. Our public programming creates a rich environment where education and entertainment coincide.

Very detailed, knowledgeable instructor, but would have preferred more time to appreciate the whiskeys vs sitting through PowerPoint slides, especially since we ran over the allotted time in order to finish all the whiskeys

This class was super informative, and so much fun! we learned a lot and the instructor made the class interesting and interactive. Everyone in the class was really nice and they all got into it which made the experience even better. I would love to do another class and have already recommended it to friends and coworkers!

We had a lot of fun. Bought it as a gift for a friend. Drinks were very different and interesting and gave us ideas for the holidays. I only wished they had some stools for us to sit on. That would have made it a bit more comfortable. The kitchen itself was a great space. Really enjoyed interacting with the other participants and tasting each other's drinks. Teacher seemed a bit uncomfortable with the presentation, but was very knowledgable and friendly. She needs to polish her skills a bit.

The class was a very nice introduction to the Bartending / Mixologist world with an history of the cocktails, an introduction to the tools and the grand final a surprise cocktail to create by small group. Our host was great and entertaining, his family and own team being there too to assist the attendee with some suggestion for their cocktails. A great moment and I will for sure come back
