Our real life story reminisces that of a bread recipe. We met through work in 2011. I was developing a line of institutional specialty fats & oils for restaurants and bakeries and Hilario was working on a greenfield project setting up a flour mill for a client. We quickly connected through our love for cooking and the fun of wandering local markets around the world; our lives simply blended. As a former cook at the famed NYC restaurant-bar, the original “Socialista,” I became enamored with watching patrons smile as they took a bite off our food. That inspired me to strive for perfection each and every time - make each bite count. When Hilario first cooked me a meal, I realized I had never tried authentic Spanish food. Immediately, it clicked into this new adventure.
