Description

What you'll learn in this cake class:

What’s that incredible smell coming from the kitchen? Nostalgia. Here, you’ll build your own 6” Milk Bar B’day cake. Learn how to layer vanilla funfetti cake, frosting and crumbs with your favorite childhood flavors and complete the look with our unfrosted, peek-a-boo sides.

Then, turn your cake scraps into scrumptious little B’day truffles. But don’t stash them in your locker! Take home all your hard work.

Please Note:

This is not a traditional baking class, but a class where you learn how to assemble a cake.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire duration of class.

Please wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat, comfortable shoes.
Please try to refrain from wearing open-toed shoes or sandals, as you will be baking in an FDA regulated production facility.

You will be provided with a hair net and headscarf before entering our kitchen, if your hair is longer than your ears length, you must pull your hair back in with an elastic band.
Please inform us if you have any severe food allergies.

In our classes, we will be working with ingredients such as gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts.

Refund Policy

Cancellations:

You may cancel your reservation up to 8 business days prior to your scheduled class date for a refund, subject to a 10% processing fee.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 8 business days of your scheduled class date, or if you fail to attend.

Rescheduling:

You are welcome to reschedule your reservation one time up to 8 business days prior to your originally scheduled class date, subject to a 10% processing fee.
A request to reschedule your reservation that is made within 8 business days of your scheduled class date will be treated as a cancellation and you may then make a new reservation.

Transfers:

You may also transfer your reservation to another guest with our prior approval, subject to a 10% processing fee.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

I enjoyed the class and am very happy I did it! The only reason I dinged it a star is because they dont tell you ahead of time how basic of a class it is and that some things are already pre-made, which was a little disappointing to think you were getting the full A-Z experience and not. Very helpful otherwise and learned alot, cake came out amazing:)

Really enjoyed this class! For those looking for an actual baking class, keep in mind that everything in this class is pre-made and given to you in containers. That being said, I learned some great tips for baking and can't wait to have a day to make my own Momofuku birthday cake.
