The best part, obviously, was smelling the croissants as they came out of the oven and eating them fresh and piping hot. Honestly, some of the best croissants I’ve ever had. I like the set up of the class as well so that we were able to experience each part of the croissant making process but still able to eat our creations. Will definitely be back for some of their other classes.

The instructor was a master of his craft but was able to teach in a way that was easy to understand. He leaned into his dry French humor, which made the class all the more fun. I have more appreciation for all croissants now, knowing the amount of work and time it takes to create these perfectly laminated deliciousness.

The course is designed to concentrate a multiple day project into a few hours in which the students get to participate in every step of the process from creating the dough, doing the turns, and forming the croissants. Chef Makenna and Assistant Paola (super stars) were wonderful in presenting clear instructions, excellent demonstrations and giving individual attention. I brought home 8 super large croissants which were gladly consumed. I can't wait to take another class.
