Class Description

Description

Learn the fundamentals of web development by coding websites with HTML and CSS, the core programming languages that form the foundation of all webpages on the internet.

You will engage in hands-on practice constructing websites completely from scratch, progressing from your initial code through the final step of deploying live sites. You will study best practices for organizing web content and structuring webpages with HTML, and applying professional visual presentation using CSS techniques.

With HTML, you will build webpages containing text, images, media elements, and various content types. Through CSS, you will implement styling, develop centered page layouts, incorporate background images, style navigation elements, and create responsive designs that automatically adjust to various screen sizes through media queries. To publish your site, you will use FTP to upload files to web servers. We provide all content materials in advance, so you can focus entirely on developing your coding abilities.
