Excellent course! Only issue was actually finding the in-person foraging class, which was meeting in a crowded public area without sufficiently specific location details and no instructor contact details on the Coursehorse website or emailed course registration confirmation. Luckily the instructor's name was mentioned on the Coursehorse website, and I was able to do and online search, find his contact info and reach him by phone to locate the class so my daughter and I could get there before they departed into the woods for the class. Coursehorse should provide better class meeting location details and instructor contact information on their website and emailed course registration confirmations. -

Statue & Skyline Sightseeing Cruise
Everyone who worked the boat was very friendly. You get some great views of Manhattan, Liberty Island, and Ellis Island, as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. You can relax inside, which is temperature controlled, or go outside to enjoy the weather. You also get a free drink with your ticket, with the option to buy more if you'd like. It's definitely worth the price. Lots of fun and very relaxing. -

Greenwich Village Pizza Walk
Not only was the pizza great, but I learned much more about the evolution of New York-style pizza than I'd expected to. The choice of three restaurants took the New York pizza story from its Neapolitan roots, through old-school New York style, to the familiar modern pizza-by-the-slice storefront style, with a wealth of information about the types of ovens and ingredients used for the different styles. We also took a brief side trip past Café Wha? where Bob Dylan got his professional start, and the Comedy Cellar, perhaps the world's premier stand-up club. -

The tour guide who led the tour was so informative - we learned so much about all things that we passed on the way. He was never at a loss for words. This made the trip! 3 hours flew by!
