Hi, I signed up for this class with my boyfriend.
There were a few things we didn't anticipate:
1. The class was in someone's apartment-we thought would be at a public space, not someone's apartment
2. There were no individual cooking stations. We basically watched what others were doing and the supposed to cram into her tiny kitchen.
I signed up late for this class, so I appreciate being let in. But was not what I had anticipated and the cost did not justify the experience. We left about 90 minutes into a 4 hour class.

Wonderful experience. It was fun, but more importantly, we left feeling more inspired to cook and took with us skills and tips that we immediately implemented the next day. We actually cooked pretty much all day making meals for the week. Karen is a great teacher who clearly wants her students to learn and enjoy her class.

It was a pleasure learning from Chef Karen. She really had the class learning everything hands on. She even teaches the importance of (where, where not and why) when purchasing fish . The importance of ginger and mushrooms for you health. I plan to take many more of her classes.
