In this course, we will explore the art of writing. We will learn how to search for and follow the feeling or the fire that will be become a piece of writing. We will discuss structure, how to move through a story or poem, how to follow image or character. And finally, we will discuss revision, how it is that a piece finally comes out the other side, complete. We will read some short pieces as a group and discuss the way they are put together....

Virtual Introduction to Creative Writing
Alyssa was very thoughtful and nurturing. She helped me both hone the skills I had as well as get me out of my comfort zone as a writer, all in the span of an hour.
