Saturday Nov 17th, 12:30pm - 3:30pm
We are a drawing group of like-minded people who share a passion for drawing. We meet and draw at iconic New York City locations, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The New York Public Library and Central Park.
Our Mission is to provide real and tangible results for drawing students of all levels, from beginner to professional, in a nonjudgmental environment.
Our classes are for you if you have been wanting to get back to your drawing, start drawing or improve your drawing skills.
Run by the drawing instructor at The National Arts Club, these sessions include personal discussions of your work for each attendee. Simon Levenson will help you with the basics that are shared by all students, such as value, depth, shading, line, etc... but also assist you in pursuing your unique goals to help you improve individually.
Join us for a group class in this amazing city with an artist who is already out there doing it.
Enjoyed the studio. Good lighting, excellent model. Wish the standing easels were a bit less rickety . Room seems to work better with working at a desk . Price is fair and friendly group leaders make for a pleasant experience.
Very relaxed atmosphere. This is the first time I had done a class like this and I was not intimidated at all. Everyone very friendly. Would definitely do it again if I come back to New York City.
Really great class. Allowed me to try out figure drawing for the first time in a safe environment. Overall a great experience and I’m trying to find a time when I can go again.
The host/monitor, model, space and other attendees were all very nice. I really, enjoyed the class! Thank you, sheila
