Amber Cowan

Teaches at UrbanGlass

Amber Cowan is an artist and educator working in Philadelphia. She received her MFA in Ceramics/Glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2011. Cowan is the recipient of the 2014 Rakow Commission from The Corning Museum of Glass and her work is in the permanent collections of The Shanghai Museum of Glass and the Wichita Art Museum. She was the 2012 recipient of the Stephen Procter Fellowship at The Australian National University. Cowan has been an instructor at The Pilchuck Glass School, The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass and is currently a faculty member of the glass department of Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
