Jane Lattes is currently the Director of Volunteer Services at the Morgan Library and Museum where she started its first centralized, museum-wide volunteer program. She has a long history of work in volunteer management at such places as The New-York Historical Society, the Museum of the City of New York, and the Guggenheim. For a decade she headed what was at that time New York's largest museum volunteer program at the American Museum of Natural History. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, a Master of Arts degree from Harvard University, and a Master of Science degree from Bank Street Graduate School of Education in Museum Education.
Wasn't entirely helpful in the realm of volunteer management. I thought I would learn more skill, tips, and tricks on how to successfully mange volunteers. Instead, I learned a lot about Jane Lattes' career, while interesting, instead of actually how to effectively manage a volunteer program. Not worth the $75.
