  Overall the pairings were delicious and truly did complement each other wonderfully. However, nowhere (that I saw) on the course page did it state that this would be a scotch tasting. Being that the venue was Beecher's, a wine cellar, my friend and I assumed that wine would be the booze component and were very disappointed when we arrived and learned it was not. Also, for the steep price point we should have been offered an additional glass of a scotch of our choice at the end of the class.

  It was a lovely course - very happy that the chocolates were added for Valentine's Day. The only issue was that the heat was extremely high in the area where the course was held - which from what I understand wasn't anyone's fault in particular, but it was quite uncomfortable (and even caused one of the cheeses to sweat). Otherwise, it was very enjoyable and we would do it again.
