Martyna Starosta is a documentary filmmaker, video journalist and media educator. Her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions, festivals, and screenings. Martyna was a yearlong TV/News Production Fellow at the daily news hour Democracy Now! and works currently as a Digital Media Producer at the Jewish Daily Forward. She sees visual storytelling as a powerful tool in the struggle for social justice. Martyna graduated from the University of the Arts in Berlin and is currently in the process of completing her MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College.

I enjoyed the class a lot. The instructor was really thorough and informative. But we had a rather ambitious syllabus and we didn't get through half of it. I believe this class should be divided into 2 sessions.
